Hello Cliff,
I would like to begin by apologizing for the product failure you had on two of the holes due to de lamination. However, I must say this is one of the worst installations I have seen in years. Due to the poor quality of the install, I am afraid you could have continuing problems throughout the life of the carpet in its present condition. Please review the attached inspection report to confirm my decision to eliminate the possibility of the potential problems in the future. Cliff, we are going to replace all the carpet on the entire course.
I am also contracting, LFI & Co to do the new installation. He has agreed to do the new install for the same amount you paid to Dean Osterman of Dro Carpets.
We will pay LFI for this install. He is an awesome installer and I am sure you will appreciate the superior workmanship he will provide.
On the adhesive, we will send you a check for the same amount you purchased from Home Depot. I suggest you buy the new adhesive from LFI & Co. They will use the correct adhesive specifications which must be 100 % solvent base, waterproof adhesive.
Cliff, we will co-ordinate the shipment of carpet between you and Jonathon to insure the install date of mid-September. Jonathan has requested you to do the take-up of existing which he will also coordinate with you. LFI & Co Phone #321-693-0601. I will also give them your cell number so you two can work together to achieve a beautiful job this time.
